Sesotho Language Manual (Peace Corps, old)

A free instructional guide for Sesotho, a language spoken by about 6 million people in several areas of Africa. This guide is designed for training Peace Corps volunteers and includes:

• Phonology: Covers phonetics, articulation, and speech sounds in Sesotho not present in English.
• Tone and Sentence Structure: Discusses the class and concord system.
• Thematic Units: 21 chapters with dialogues, English translations, cultural and grammar notes, and exercises. Topics include daily living skills, greetings, introductions, location and directions, time, family, daily activities, health, and more.
